Description
Better Than (BT) Crawling Insect Killer is an effective Aerosol Contact & Residual Insecticide Spray that may be used indoors & outdoors. With an optimized active blend & strength, BT Crawling Insect Killer will provide both instant and long term insect control. This water based, easy-to-use spray may be used as Contact or Crack & Crevice Spray for immediate pest infestation, or as a Barrier Spray for preventative long-term control. Recommendations
SPOT TREATMENTS
- To kill Ants, Cockroaches, Crickets, Silverfish, Spiders, Sowbugs, Earwigs and Carpet Beetles: Spray areas where these pests are found or may hide, including dark corners of rooms and closets; cracks and crevices in walls; along baseboards and door and window frames; behind and beneath sinks, stoves, refrigerators and cabinets and around garbage cans, plumbing and other utility installations. For ants, apply to ant trails, also around doors and windows and wherever else these pests may find entrance.
- To kill Brown Dog Ticks and Fleas: Thoroughly apply as a spot treatment to infested areas such as pet beds and resting quarters, nearby cracks and crevices, along and behind baseboards, window and door frames and localized areas of floor and floor coverings where these pests may be present. Old bedding should be removed and replaced with clean, fresh bedding after treatment. Do not spray pets with this product.
- To Kill Flies and Mosquitoes: Use only outdoors as a barrier spray and aid in reducing annoyance from these insects. Spray outside surfaces of window and doorframes as well as other areas where these pests may enter the home. Also spray dark corners and localized resting areas, such as under eaves or porches, patios and garages, where

Where to install a dispenser containing insecticide?
- Ideal placement is above an entrance to the room or building. This ensures the maximum potential concentration of the product at the point of entry for the insects to maintain a barrier. The movement of people through the opening helps to ensure air movement and product distribution.
- Dispenser must be located 2-3 meters above the floor and 15 cm from the ceiling at a point where air circulation will carry particles throughout the area.
- Use area must have at least 170 cubic meters (6,000 cubic feet) of free flow air space.
- Do not install directly above of any food handling or food dispensing area.
- In meat packing plants, only spray when the plant is not in operation. No exposed meat products, ingredients, or packaging materials to be left in the room. Any treated surface that may contact meat food products should be washed and rinsed thoroughly with potable water after spraying and before re-use.

Recommendations
TO KILL HOUSE PESTS:
- Flying Insects - Flies, mosquitoes, wasps, gnats and flying moths. Close doors and windows. Direct mist upwards, in a sweeping motion, to all parts of the room, especially windows and other light sources. Apply 6 to 10 second bursts per 30 cubic metres of space. Whenever possible keep doors and windows closed for 25 minutes after each treatment. Also direct mist into areas where insects are present.
- Crawling Insects - Cockroaches, spiders, crickets, ants, carpet beetles, centipedes and silverfish. Spray hiding places such as baseboards, moist areas, openings around sinks, drains and pipes, behind cabinets and storage areas. Spray ant trails, around door sills, window frames or in ant nests. Insects must be hit to be killed.
- Bed Bugs - Spray mattresses, particularly around seams and tufts. Take bed apart, spray all joints. Repeat as required. Fleas - Spray sleeping quarters of pets. Change bedding if necessary. Do not use on pets.
TO KILL GARDEN PESTS ON FLOWERS AND ORNAMENTALS:
- Sucking Insects - Exposed thrips, leafhoppers, spotted mites, lace bugs, aphids. Chewing Insects - Caterpillars, climbing cutworms, Japanese beetles. For insects on Asters, Azaleas, Begonias, Chrysanthemums, Dahlias, Delphiniums, Gladiolus, Iris, Marigolds, Petunias, Roses, Snapdragons, evergreens, small deciduous trees, shrubs and vines. Carefully spray with slow sweeping motion keeping 30 - 45 cm away from the plants to avoid wetting the foliage. A light spray kills pests effectively. Spray only when air is still and temperature is under 320C. Do not spray in direct sunlight. Early morning or evening is preferred. Use with caution on young plants and new growth. Insects must be contacted by spray to be killed.

Recommendations
KILLS & CONTROLS WASP, BEES, HORNETS AND YELLOW JACKETS
- Remove protective cap and point nozzle in direction of the wasp nest or at the insect. Press the nozzle and completely saturate the nest from a safe distance (typically 8-10 feet). Allow sufficient time for insects to die. Application to wasp nests should be made in late evening or early morning when insects are at rest.
